Organic Waste

Project Rebloom was created in part as a response to a simple question:

What happens to flowers after their moment has passed?

Across Los Angeles and beyond, florals from events, hotels, retail spaces, and celebrations are often discarded after only a short life. These arrangements may have once represented joy, love, beauty, remembrance, or celebration — yet they quickly become waste.

Project Rebloom exists to help change that.

By collecting and reimagining pre-loved florals, we aim to extend their story and support a more thoughtful, circular relationship with beauty.

A Local Environmental Opportunity

California has taken important steps toward reducing organic waste and landfill-related emissions. Project Rebloom supports that broader direction by encouraging the rescue and repurposing of flowers that might otherwise be discarded.

Our mission is especially relevant in Los Angeles, where floral use is high across hospitality, events, retail, and entertainment.

By working with local businesses and partners, Project Rebloom aims to contribute to a more creative and conscious approach to floral waste.

What we do

How Project Rebloom Helps

We work to:

  • collect pre-loved florals from potential partners
  • divert flowers from being immediately discarded
  • reimagine them into meaningful new forms
  • inspire broader awareness around floral waste and circular creativity

This is not just about reducing waste.
It is about recognizing value where others see an ending.

Our Impact Goals

As Project Rebloom grows, we will track and share progress through impact goals such as:

  • florals rescued
  • events repurposed
  • hotel and venue partnerships
  • pounds of organic waste diverted
